I’m in Orlando!!
I arrived in Orlando early yesterday morning, checked in, and now I’m in my apartment at Patterson Court! It’s all very surreal but also very exciting. Yesterday we went to Walmart for supplies, it was very busy cause everybody who checked in yesterday had the same idea I think. Also the buses took a hundred years to arrive and then they were always full. Siigh. But after having a night’s sleep everything feels a lot easier to handle, and after getting our internet sorted this morning I already feel a smige less homesick.
My apartment has three bedrooms (so six beds) but so far only four of us live here. So we’ve got an empty bedroom, and unsure if or when anyone else will move in.
Tomorrow we start orientation, which I am excited for! I’m even more excited to start work, I actually can’t wait. A month of unemployment made me so bored. And I want to have a schedule, and things to do, and just a bit of a routine to make everything more familiar and comfortable.
